• 2 limoni non trattati
• 700 g di zucchero
• 1 tazza di caffè molto ristretto
• 1 cucchiaino di cannella

Grattugiate la scorza dei limoni e spremetene il succo.

Tagliate le mele a fettine sottili.

Ponete le mele e lo zucchero in una pentola. Sceglietene una di dimensioni tali che vi consentano di riempirla non oltre la metà: eviterete così spruzzi e traboccamenti durante la cottura.

Irrorate con il succo dei limoni, mettete sul fuoco e portate ad ebollizione mescolando spesso.

Lasciate sobbollire per 5 minuti, poi unite il caffè, la scorza di limone and cinnamon.
